Jimmy, who is in spirit, is part of the team here at the sanctuary.  He came to us some time ago and has been a fabulous spirit guide and advisor since.  He comes through to all our mediums even those who still read with their “L” plates on.

We trust in spirit to know what is best and follow their advice even although we may not see why, as they often have a greater purpose than we are aware of.  This has served us well over the years and spirit has a way of putting things in place so we can move forward.

Jimmy is chief mischief maker here at the sanctuary and often messes around with lights, touches people and moves things.  Always up to little things like making a necklace fall off, moving keys and telling everyone Kelly is his wife.  He also won’t allow us to unlock the sanctuary door until we say “Good Morning Jimmy” or “please”.  He has been known to turn the lights off when the only person in the room is as far away for the switch as possible meaning they will fall over the furniture to get back to the switch or the door.  He sometimes goes home with our mediums and plays tricks with them there too.  One has parrots who say “here’s Jimmy” and they are let out of their cage.  We often hear him laugh or make a smart comment when he his joke is discovered.

One time he even threw, our medium, Kelly’s car key down the gap at the front of a lift so she couldn’t use her car to get home that night.  Kelly was furious.  Her anger was short lived as there was a massive and serious accident that evening on her usual route home.

He is also responsible for good things like finding things that have been lost – like just “needing” to tidy out a cupboard and something we have been looking for shows up there. He also reminds us of important things like appointments.

It is safe to say Jimmy is well loved member of the family here at the sanctuary while his shenanigans do annoy us we certainly have a good laugh and feel very privileged to have his guiding hand influence and protect us.

Do you know? Or has a friend said these words?

What signs do our loved ones send when they have passed?  Sometimes they bump around so we can hear them, put the kettle on or make the lights flicker.  You might get a smell of cigarette smoke or homemade bread or the lightest of touches.  Do you find this comforting?

Often it is a vivid dream where you spend time with them.

Waking up with a start, to a poke in the ribs although you sleep alone and later finding that the time you woke is the time your brother had a car accident, to the second.  Have you ever had an annoying run of bad luck like a flat tyre or missed bus that made you late? When you later see how you were prevented from being too close to a tragedy.

They sometimes appear to and talk to children, who find it easier to see and hear them.
